Aga Khan Palace

Katraj Snake Park

Is a popular location to get the close view of variety of reptiles? Established in 1986, is situated Pune–Satara Highway at Katraj. The Park houses birds and turtles apart from the reptiles. The park homes the rare species of Brown Palm Civet and is a major attraction. As per the wildlife records this is the only specimen of this kind in captivity. The King Cobra of length nine feet, which is brought from Sunder bans, is another attraction to the wildlife enthusiasts. . The Snake Park is open for public everyday from 10 am to 5:30 pm.

Mulshi Lake

Is a tourist attraction & picnic spot nearby Pune. The Lake is formed in the area of Mulshi dam. The Dam is a perfect spot for picnic, with beautiful surrounding, unexploited Sahyadri hilly terrains, lusting green dense forests and also some ancient forts like Koraigadh and Dhangad. The dense forest around the Dam and lake offer the views of some rare wild animals and also views of variety of trees including Teak, sag, mango trees and oak. National War Museum

Was inaugurated and opened in 1998. National War Museum is a tribute to those soldiers who laid down their lives for nation. Parvati Hill Temple

It is a famous temple in pune built by Balaji Baji Rao and occupies a significant place for the pilgrims. You have to climb 108 steep and narrow steps in order to reach the temple. Formerly it was the private shrine of the Peshwas. It also houses Parvati museum featuring portraits of Peshwas, ancient manuscripts and coins. Interesting objects exhibited here are an elephant-shaped foot scrubber, a brass scorpion revealing a secret lock and eight images of Lord Ganesha carved on a bean.

Saras Baug

A famous location for outing approximately one kilometer from Swargate, Pune. The beautiful green lawns of the Baug, along with its blooming flowerbeds, attract tourist from far and wide. Shaniwar waada

A precious gift by the Peshwas in the year 1736. The imposing brass studded gates and lotus pools are the only prime attractions left in this palace as it was destroyed by a huge fire in the year 1827.
